Essentially Massage in Blaine, is open Monday through Friday with extended hours on Tuesday and Thursday. The therapy rooms are relaxing and comfortable to help optimize your massage experience.  Enjoy consistency with you massage session and know that is will be tailored to your specific needs.

Essentially Massage was founded by Danielle Holten in March 2010 in Andover, MN, with one room and herself as the only therapist. Because of rapid growth; Danielle decided to move the business to Blaine, MN. The company motto is “Massage with a Purpose”, which means simply to have a plan of treatment for clients coming in for massage and Pain Management. It is the company mission to provide nurturing/ therapeutic massage experience in a clean, safe, relaxing environment in order to enhance the physical and mental well-being of each individual client.

Essentially Massage is growing leaps and bounds with new clients being referred each week. To help those that are seeking a rejuvenating relaxation massage, there will be a therapist joining Essentially Massage just for that purpose. Danielle will continue to provide Orthopedic and Advanced Myoskeletal Alignment techniques to those suffering from Chronic Pain and repetitive use injuries.

Our individual bodies are ever changing with injuries and our daily lives. Your massage should be ever changing as well to keep up with individual needs. Who plays harder than our children? Be sure to ask about massage for your children that are in sports or have been involved in an accident. Their bodies can carry those injuries into adulthood. If you feel that your child would benefit from massage, please know that you are encouraged to be in the room, your child will NOT be asked to remove their clothing  and their session will last approximately 30 min. Infant massage is not offered at this time.

Essentially Massage in Blaine, MN has helped improve the athletic performance of student athletes at Blaine, Coon Rapids, and Andover Middle Schools and High Schools. 

Essentially Massage is conveniently located in Blaine, MN off of Hwy 65 just south of Hwy 10.

At Essentially Massage, Danielle Holten, CMT is one of nine therapists listed as a preferred practitioner by orthopedicmassage.net in Minnesota. Blaine. She has taken the extra step of testing to become  a teaching assistant for the Center of Pain Therapy. The massage practice is looking to expand and include more MAT or Advanced Myoskeletal Alignment techniques founded by Eric Dalton. Together both techniques offer noticable results for many individuals. Please know that massage can help relieve many causes of chronic pain, but not all
